Black Bear

Did you know black bears are not always black? There are no brown bears in Colorado, though there are brown bears in Colorado. A real brown bear, such as grizzlies, have not been seen in Colorado for many decades. Black bears may be black, brown (called cinnamon), or the rare white (almost) Kermode bear, also known as the spirit bear.
